On May 6, PartyPoker will host Powerfest tournament series. It should become the largest series in the history of the room: in its schedule of 366 tournaments with a total guarantee of $40 million (this is twice as much as in the same series exactly one year ago), the average guarantee of each event is 109,000. All three indicators are record for the series.
Buy-ins of the tournaments of the May Powerfest range from $1 to $25,000. They will be divided in size into six groups: Micro, Low, Middle, High, High Roller, Super High Roller.
Eleven tournaments will have a guarantee of one million dollars, and two superherolets – two and five million. About 20% of the events will be held in Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo. From the Main events it was decided to refuse, but there will be just 17 tournaments – Championship.
One of the compilers of the timetable for this Powerfest was a member of the team of the room, Patrick “Pleno1” Leonard. On this occasion he said the following:
“There is a consistent logic in the Powerfest schedule that regular players will like. There will be more tournaments for Omaha, 6-max, high rollers. A player with any bankroll can find a tournament by his means. ”
Already in the lobby of the room there are satellites to the tournaments of the series, in which you can win tickets worth from $11 to $2,650.
