Powerfest tournament series will start at PartyPoker on September 2
This year, PowerFest tournament series for Partypoker was held for the first time in May and differed from all previous record figures – $40 million in a total guarantee in 366 tournaments.
The room announced a new series for September. It will be even larger. From 2 to 23 September, the series will host 670 events, with a total minimum prize pool of $60,000,000.
Tournament buy-ins will start from $1.10. Since August 14, satellites will take place on expensive events. Contributions in the qualifying tournaments will start at 1 cent.
All PowerFest events of the fall of 2018 are divided into several groups of buy-ins: Micro, Low, Middle, High, High Roller, Super High Roller. Several dozen of them will be held in Omaha.
20 tournaments of the series will be called “Championship”, and in fifteen of them the guarantee will be not less than one million dollars. The biggest event of this PowerFest will be $25,000 Super High Roller and a $3 million guarantee.
In addition to the series will be confined 4 additional shares:
- Sit & Go Jackpot – from August 14 to September 23 will be a special lottery CIS with a buy-in of $2.50, in which, in addition to cash prizes of $5 and $10, tickets for PowerFest tournaments with a par value of $27.50 to $5,200 can drop out;
- Fastforward Rake Race – from August 23 to September 1, $50,000 in tickets will be played among the best players at the cash tables of the three levels of limits that scored the most cashback points;
- Leaderboards – from August 27 to September 23, the best players of the PowerFest and Power Series tournaments will receive weekly tickets to the MILLIONS Online tournament and satellites to it with a total value of $60,000;
- Power Hour – during the whole series every day there will be two hours, during which players will receive double cashback points.
