From February 18 to March 4, PokerStars will host 74 tournaments of the online Turbo Series with buy-ins from $11 to $5,200. The total guaranteed prize pool of all tournaments is $15 million, and within the series PokerStars will play three packages of PSPC Platinum Pass. One trip to the PokerStars No-Limit Hold’em Players Championship, each with a value of $30,000, will be won by two main events, and the third package will be given to the winner of the All-in Shootout tournament for all participants in any Turbo Series tournament.
Both Main events will be financially affordable, although they can not be called cheap. The main low tournament will be held with a buy-in of $55 with a guarantee of $1 million, and for participation in a larger main event with a guarantee of $2.5 million, you will have to pay $1,050. Both tournaments will start on March 4 at 19.00 GMT.
If you would like to play the Turbo Series without much investment from your pocket, you can try special Spin & Go for $2.75, among the possible prizes of which are tournament tickets up to the ticket to the Main Event with a buy-in of $1,050, and PokerStars intends to randomly throw tickets in these Spin & Go in the prize pools of the tournament schedules Hot Turbos.
There are also daily satellites to Main Event for $55, buy-in which is only $2.20, and to the prizes of these satellites PokerStars is going to add a lot of additional tournament tickets. And in the event that you start playing in the series, however, for whatever reason, the prize places will slip away from you, PokerStars will give you a second chance in the form of tickets to special freerolls.
